The band blends traditional bluegrass standards, familiar acoustic favorites, and re-imagined classics with the drive and precision of roots music. Their lineup of Jason Amick, Rich Osborn, Allen Fisher, Mike Cameron, and award-winning fiddler Jim Graddick—brings strong musicianship and versatility to every show. We understand you’re balancing sound, crowd retention, and bar/venue sales. The goal is always to support the room, not fight it. We are comfortable being your event's background music or your event's main draw.

The Millhands are an acoustic band; typical setup is 4–5 performers with standard festival or club-level requirements. We can plug in when required or perform around a single mic. We’re happy to work within the constraints of your room and system.

Traditional Single Mic Setup

For a more dynamic show with musicians moving around a single mic, we prefer our Audio-Technica AT4033a or Ear Trumpet large condenser mic where the environment allows (ie quiet area/ drapery behind the band, limited reflective surfaces behind the mic, and moderate volume requirements).

We can play these with limited monitoring or in ear monitoring.
